Thank you for shopping with Madam Hippo. Every order is carefully prepared and packaged before being shipped from Ontario, Canada.

Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days after payment has been received.

Orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on weekends or Canadian statutory holidays.

If there is an unexpected delay in processing your order, I will contact you using the email address provided at checkout.

Shipping Carrier

All orders are shipped through Canada Post.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the destination, package size, weight, and the shipping service you select.

Shipping Within Canada 🍁

Customers in Canada may choose from the following Canada Post services:

  • Regular Parcel
  • Expedited Parcel

Delivery times are estimates provided by Canada Post and may vary depending on your location, weather conditions, peak shipping seasons, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Friends Beyond Canada 🌎

At this time, Madam Hippo ships within Canada only. Due to the current global economic and shipping circumstances, I'm temporarily unable to offer shipping to the United States or other international destinations.

I hope to open the doors to my international friends in the future. Thank you for being here and supporting handmade art and slow-made pieces. 💛

Order Tracking

Tracking information will be provided by email when available for the shipping service selected.

Please note that not all Canada Post services include tracking.

Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Orders returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address may be reshipped at the customer's expense.

Delivery Delays

Once your order has been handed to Canada Post, delivery is the responsibility of the carrier.

While I do my best to ensure your order arrives promptly, I cannot guarantee delivery dates and are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Weather conditions
  • Customs inspections
  • Postal service disruptions
  • High shipping volumes
  • Other events beyond our control

Lost Packages

Once an order has been handed to the shipping carrier, delivery is the responsibility of the carrier. 

If your package is delayed or appears lost, please contact Canada Post with your tracking number to get more info on the location of your package. The items that are sent with no tracking and no insurance, the post office cannot check its whereabouts because it has no tracking.
